Safeguard of investors assets.
Decamel shall hold investors’ financial assets and uninvested funds separately from its own assets, in an account separated from Decamel assets. Decamel keeps accurate records of investors’ financial assets and takes steps to ensure it has controls to minimize the technical risk of loss of investors funds.
Suitable projects offerings.
Decamel makes sure that the investors are aware of the risks of investing via the Platform and that the financial situation of investors allows them to bear these risks. To address this, as part of our KYC/AML process, we ask the investors to complete an assesment of their knowledge and previous experience with the investment markets so that the projects fit their expectations and goals. In particular, investments via the Platform is not suitable for those investors who prefer to preserve capital rather than to take on risks.
Availability of detailed information.
Investors are provided with user-friendly and detailed information about projects and their investments. Project updates and monitoring data is made available on a regular basis. This enables investors to make better-informed decisions and keep track of their investments.
Monitoring and portfolio management.
Decamel performs ongoing monitoring of the originators (the borrowers), their overall financial, operational and collateral related data. Additionally, Decamel structures financing so that there is a mechanism to collect funding (debt) from the originators in case of default or failure of the originator in so far it there is a collateral which can be realised to cover the debt or covenants allowing to minimize the probability of unsuccessful event during the life of the project or a default by the originator.
